Nickname: Gats
Playing History:

Started playing in the 9th grade for the L'Escale highschool Cougars, in Rockland. I started as a setter, then transformed into a rightside hitter, to finally end up as a power hitter.

Finished my highschool career with two OFSAA medals. One antique bronze (4th place) in 11th grade and one gold medal in 12th grade.

From there, I went on to play college ball for the Cité Collégiale Coyotes. In the OCAA (Ontario College Athletic Association), i finished 1st as the Eastern Regional Scoring Champion, two years running, as well as receiving the Athlet of the Year Award from la Cité Collégiale.

Now, I am currently still a student at La Cité Collégial, but decided to take a year off from playing to learn a different aspect of the game as a coach. I will participate with the Coyotes next year and hopefully repeat my past succes in the OCAA.

Coaching Resumé:

It is my first year as an assistant coach. I'm currently helping out with the U14 Bandits. Even though I lack of experience as a coach, I believe I can contribute alot with my experience as a competitive playing competitive volleyball.

Coaching Philosophy:

It's all about hard work and determination. You have to want it ! You have to put as much energy, enthusiasm and intensity in a practice, that you would put into a game.

Creating short and long term goals are essential to become a better/stronger player

The mental aspect of the game is, if not more important, but as important as the physical aspect.

This is a personal philosophy, but i believe you must have that "killer" instinct. You always want the setter to set you, always want to receive the ball on the serve, hit through that black, dig that hit ball. You have to want it!

Team first. Everyone has a roll on the team. Personal stats come after, team first.

Current Career: Student in Civil Engineering at La Cité Collegiale
