Spring House Leagues - UPDATE

2020 / 03 / 18

It is our hope everyone is managing, as well as staying healthy, through these unprecedented times.

Like most of us, our management team at MVB has been monitoring the updates from our Health Officials and Government Leaders. To date we have held off announcing a full cancelation of our spring programs and have taken the route to suspend our programs indefinitely until we receive definite directives.

It is our hope that we may be able to still offer programming at some point this spring. We do know now that the month of April is no longer open for return, so we are currently looking at a best case scenario return sometime in May. Our staff are working on alternative scheduling and curriculums, that would include reduced class sizes and age specific programs. These options could also include alternative days of the week and locations.

To that end, we will continue to remain suspended until further notice. We hope some of you will be able to continue to keep your registrations active in anticipation of when we do begin operations again. We do understand that may not be an option for some, and of course, any refund requests will be accepted and processed as quickly as possible.

For those of you who have requested a refund and have not received it as of yet, we are lagging further behind than expected due to both volume as well as the fact we have extra administrative steps involved due to the 3rd party Registration system we employ. Any requests that have been made to date, we expect the returns to have been finally been processed today (April 1), meaning they should show on your individual credit card statements by Friday/Monday.
All future refund requests can be done through this email or through the Program Director (email below).

Please note we are taking a similar approach with our Summer Camp and Beach VB programs. We do have registration open and while we hope to be able to run them as originally designed we are also planning alternatives to reflect best, worst case scenarios.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact the Director of Youth Programs, Ian Whamond: ian@maverickvolleyball.ca

Please accept our heartfelt thank you for your support of our Club and we truly look forward to seeing everyone on the VB courts soon!
